Who is Diego de Oxóssi?
Diego began his book career as an independent author. After three years, she decided to start her own publishing house. It was there, in April 2018, that Arole Cultural was born, specialized in titles that discuss Afro-religious religions. For the beginning of the publishing house, there were four titles: two by the publisher himself and two by other authors. Already in the first year, he decided that he needed to attend the São Paulo International Book Fair, where he met his first partners: Ivo Camargo and Catavento. It closed the first year with nine titles published, two of them - still considered the bestsellers of the house - sold more than three thousand copies each. He entered Brazilian Publishers and decided that he would begin the internationalization of his catalog. With less than two years of life, Arole has participated in the international fairs of London, Bologna and Buenos Aires from where it returned with contracts of translation and export to seven territories.
